Interesting. Looks like we'll get a rematch of last year's GF.

Norwood's only other losses for the year were both to the Eagles, right?

A mighty win and team four quarter effort by the underdog Roosters.
Into the grand final.

Gee bit of a shock, thought a NWD v WWT, Ressies GF was a monty.

Well done North.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I haven't followed him that closey in the last year or so- Jay Shannon 26 touches today obviously played well, I see that he has played 9 reserves games this season. Why wasn't he a regular in the league side this season? Coming back from injury? Not playing that well/out of form?

Got suspended for a week and didn't get his spot back in the league side. Given he played most of the season back in the 2's he must have been close to being dropped anyway.

Ahk cheers Heater. That's disappointing especially after he made such a great transition to North from Port a few years back.

Congrats to Jay Shannon on a superb game in the midfield today.
Also to Nic Dinham Roosters CHF on his 4 goals today taking his yearly total to 50,
leading goal kicker in the reserves competition.
Best wishes to all the North boys in the GF next week.

He missed much of 2015 with a leg injury and he never seemed 100% fit when he was playing seniors earlier this year. His kicking in particular seemed not up to standard. Also Jordie McKenzie and Tom Schwarz have come into the side and play a similar role to Jay. Having said that if he can regain full fitness he still certainly has something to offer North.

Glenelg win the Under 18s by a point with a 70 metre kick against the breeze after the siren! One of the best pieces of commentary was when Harrison Cock for Glenelg entered a pack: "Cock goes in hard"
