Me, not too proud to admit they make me sick. I hate them.....seems the old chap who works 3 days a week here, he's ok with them.

I move the pallets out, he heads in with a broom, stuns the fat bastard and while it's still writhing he grabs it's tail and belts it's head against the pallet racking.

Me, I've put my apron on and I'm on the kitchen table squealing. Laughing my arse off at how he handled it, but squealing nonetheless.

Worked at the grain silos/bunkers once upon a time. So saw dozens of rats/mice on a good day, shit loads more on others.

And Rats scare me. They were pain resistant. Belted them with shovels and crowbars and they'd take it on the chin, play dead for several seconds then run off.

Once saw a rat run and jump off a ledge to get away from me with a shovel. Fell about 8m onto concrete. Heard the really loud slap. By time I climbed down, it had shaken itself off and ran away. No harm done.

I was once climbing down a ladder at the silos and a big mother of a fat rat just calmly walked across my hands with not a care in the world
I was lucky not to fall after I let out a shit load of profanities

That Tomic halfway through his Davis Cup match is more concerned about talking about Krygios and not on the match....

From what I understand in the press conference Tomic bagged Kyrgios about faking being crook etc. Hewitt, who is the Davis Cup captain (which is more like a coach, am I right?) sat next to Tomic and then basically said that Kyrgios was crook and that was good enough for him.

Tomic may be a full-time card-carrying knob, but what kind of leadership is happening within the team that players feel obligated to publicly cast aspersion over their teammates?

As captain surely leadership and team morale etc is Hewitt's role. Could you imagine a footy post-match conference where one player names and bags out a teammate in no uncertain terms, and the coach just sits there and lets him get away with it? I would've though Hewitt might've tried to hose Tomic's comments down, but from what I saw, he didn't.

It was Hewitt's first ever Tie as captain, so it is probably a bit harsh that he should be lumped with all the blame.

I was just commenting the other day that both Tomic and Kyrgios had seemed to calm down of late - Tomic into the top 20, and Kyrgios winning his first ATP title, but then they go and do something like this.

I still have hope for them, but i am more optimistic than most.

To be fair, I guess Hewitt's really got his work cut out for him as captain as he tries to manage a pair of (a) spoilt self-entitled tennis brats who are (b) spoilt self-entitled post-Gen-Y types (or whatever they're called now). Neither are mature enough to put any personal differences aside and play and conduct themselves professionally without jumping onto social media and telling everyone about anything.

I'm not as confident as you benny, I think this can only end badly, or at least in disappointment given the talent and potential both offer.

Must be the day for it.

Recent phone conversation between me and another person in this office. I preface this by saying that I"m the first aid officer for our area.

*Phone rings*

Me: Hi, this is Lisa

Person: Hi Lisa, do you know if we have any ice packs in the first aid kit

Me: No we don't

Person: Why not?

Me: If we kept them in the first aid kit, they'd melt.

Person: Where will I find them then?

Me: Try the freezer in the kitchen

Person: How will i know what it looks like? Will it have first aid written on it?
