I think Port will also struggle in the finals. With 2 of there key defenders out for the season now this means Clurey wont be back, Jonas will go back to the AFL side and Lobbe wont be there finals time as well.
And they'll have Butcher.......
What Im saying is I think they be very beatable. Neade and Ah chee will be probably play out the year and be ineligible for finals. So how they go this weekend will likely be as good as they'll get.
Other than Logan, Butcher, Moore, Stewart and Redden, Port's team will virtually be an U21's side. Gray, Clurey, AhChee and probably Mitchell aren't likely to qualify. Neade is already ineligible. I'm expecting at least 6, possibly even 10, of the top ups to be playing, so definitely won't be a 'stacked' side. It's fine to run fast and keep it up over 2 hours but if you can't kick or you panic under pressure, fitness isn't worth much - particularly in finals and when we supposedly don't care about winning.
Norwood! Finals football is a different thing altogether. the legs have had success and will not get overhwlemed by the occasion. They expect to win and do not fear failure. The only thing is they must win this week to get into the top 3 otherwise it will be alot harder. They still have players to come back including Newton who they have been missing badly.

Yes I forgot about Gray as well. So will be a few missing. Not exactly a stacked side.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
Port starting to fall away with players going to surgery. They wont qaulify the above mentioned players and will probably go out in straight sets. Eagles have the advantage but the legs the big danger.

Ports team for their first final shouldn't be an issue as the Power will still be playing .. The week after however their cattle probably starts to fall away
Which is potentially a huge disadvantage to whoever plays them in the Qualifying. Imagine if Port win by 5 points, then have half a side next week and the Eagles flog them whilst the QF loser faces being bundled out in straight sets, which could be a quality side that only just missed the double chance. And of course the integrity's not compromised
FWIW I think Norwood still just have an edge over the Eagles if they can get close to their full side on the park.
Eagles are hopeless on Adelaide Oval. They really struggle there.
Port know it well and how to play it with professional full time players who are taught how to play it (week after week).
Interesting comment seeing the Eagles have only played once at the revamped oval. Granted they were beaten in that game but they are playing a completely different style of football this year.

Well he is kinda right. They do have a 100% loss ratio which is a bit hopeless

At last, back to something constructive. Well done.
Well really, the comp is a joke. Thanks to Friar Tuck (Olsen) and cohorts. Nothing left in it for most people, hence the non attendance, unless you feel otherwise?
EDIT, I should add, I have more emotional appeal to my Ammo club these days. Sad, isn't it?
