Younie said Adelaide’s participation on Friday would not be his decision but suggested if the Crows were forced to play on Friday some, if not all, AFL players could be withdrawn. There is the possibility of a farcical situation where Adelaide could field 21 top-up players in a move which would hurt the competition’s integrity.

Is there nothing the Crows don't feel entitled to?
Having said that, it would be the creme de la creme of farces if they field 21 reserves players on Friday. Hard to rule it out knowing them. Maybe Nigel Smart will get a guernsey.

Unfortunately I tend to agree with you. We will talk a big game now but will get offered something and fold again.

They run the competition that we are a part of.
What can we do other than make our position known? If they tell us to play Saturday then, at the end of the day, we play Saturday.
Sadly, I fear that the SANFL will yet again bend over to our AFL masters and let them have their way.
Would be interesting to see if they change the draw for later in the season where we have a 5 day gap between round 16 & 17.
Or, will the SANFL finally expose their balls to the dictators? That's assuming they have any.
