Does it make it more reliable if Mannum post he has signed on there official Facebook page?

Perhaps Carey is just being efficient by avoiding wear and tear on his keyboard.....

I think it is tonight.
My mail is along with most of the players the horse has bolted!
I spoke to a lady on the Social Club Committee or Sporting Club or whatever runs the building and she sounded confident they would sort out the footy club and continue next year but probably not in Div 3 and not with much money or players.
It seemed to me that there is a big disconnection between the two clubs. I don't know how that system works but it certainly put me off of a similar system for our club.
I remember playing my old mates at Hope Valley in a final and their coach told us after the game they couldn't have a show at the club that night because the social club had one on, not a good system if you ask me.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet *I apologise to Hope Valley people in advance, no offence intended

Agreed not the ideal system.....That said, it is our experience it is workable but largely depends if there is an arsehole in charge (which unfortunately has been the case from time to time).
Hilarious stuff this. In our local messenger paper today Salisbury West chairman Bob Campbell claims his club needs to go to Div 5 due to a lack of numbers and players leaving for money to play at other clubs. Campbell claims they stopped paying players in July and informed the players at a meeting at this time and his words - " at the end of the season they the players have thought,oh well we will go get cash somewhere else. Well HELLO. Talk about players having no credibility. You make your bed you lay in it Salisbury West.

No sympathy from me, work within your limitations. How long will it take for clubs to work out that if your spending is going to exceed your income, you will make a loss?
I can't feel sorry for clubs who pay their players too much, and then whinge when they leave for more cash. Shits me to tears.
I should add, there are some good people at Westies who would play for $0, pay rego and put money over the bar, like there would be at Kilburn and Brahma Lodge. I feel for these guys, but the clubs as a whole need to have a genuine look at the way they run things before they get to the point of running out of money and asking to drop grades.
