They will be fined for bringing the game into disrepute and stripped of draft picks. The AFL will suspend people at the club, a la Adelaide. As far as the players are concerned, the AFL may try and suspend them like they did with Cousins (remembering he never actually got caught) but their overarching problem is, if they suspend 30 players say, they'll be non competitive for ages. Also, players will try and fight it in court, leading to more dramas the AFL can not afford to deal with. So I think the players will answer only to ASADA and the AFL will step away from the sanctioning.
