8:30 am on the corner of Kings Rd and Main North Road, largish lady sitting at the lights in her car completely oblivious ( it seemed ) to the fact her car was not a bubble and indeed had clear glass windows, pair of tweezers in hand.....plucking hairs from her chin and neck.

Re: Things that make you laugh
My mothers inability to saying no when offered things by the old people she cleans for. Sometimes she comes home with some handy things and others she brings home some utter crap and useless things. Today was just another example of how much she can't say no to these people.
Today she brought home 18 new lightblub's which I guess will come in handy at some stage and not one, but three of these Smartswitch devices which you plug your TV or other household appliance you keep on standby into then plug the device into the wall. The device automatically turns the appliance off when on standby to save power while keeping it switched on at the wall.
The thing about that is every TV or appliance like the Foxtel in our house that can be put on standby is always turned off at the wall when not being used, so we have no need for the bloody things. It was only until she got home and I told we actually have no need for these things that she questioned her decision to bring them home.

Did a bit of delivery driving when I was younger - amazing what you see from the higher position in the van... once saw a bloke having a crack whilst stopped at the lights on the parade adjacent the foodland.
