If you chose to sell your ticket ( lets say ) on Facebook, then you dont get to go, but the person who paid you for the ticket does get to go. So still only 35,000 people are going.

If your brother purchased a ticket on Saturday, was it from a dodgy pommy bloke with a piece of cardboard or was it from a window in a building at the gate? If it was the window, I believe they did sell a small amount at the gate.....BUT, if the crowd maximum was 35,000 they may have only sold 34,800 in the first instance and then sold 200 on the day.

So, still only 35,000 tickets were available, 35,000 were sold, and 35,000 went.

You guys think thats clear enough? Lets hope so HH3

Same blokes were selling "official" merch after the concert for $10 a shirt. Then we saw a guy that was selling them for $20 and told him about the other guys selling cheaper, and he cracked the shits at us. I guess he didnt like us criticizing his business model.

Makes perfect sense but I'm still trying to work if 35,000 bought tickets and only 34,000 turned up how they where at capacity.

Because, they could only sell 35000 tickets (in this example), which they did the volume of tickets sold was at capacity.

It doesn't matter if only one person showed up out of the 35000, they can't then put 34999 noshow tickets on the door because if the no-shows turn up later then the venue would be OVER capacity...
