Well explain the fact he turned up at training "disorientated" during the season, and subsequently suspended for 2 weeks. Don't forget many people working get drug and alcohol tested every day. And they don't get 3 striked. I don't feel sorry for anyone on that type of money. Pay me that much and you can scrutinise me as much as you like.

I'm starting to get worried. I'm agreeing with TSG. Must be the drugs I'm on ;)

it would be, but it would also be written into players contracts that they aren't to take anything at any time, so then getting constantly tested and scrutinised would be fair enough

Collingwood have a history of sticking by players who "stray". Ask for a trade however, look out.

I think most clubs would do the same. Unless the player was irredeemable, Collingwood aren't alone.

Too Collingwoods credit they have stood by Didak, Heath Shaw and Swan (I'm forgetting someone) when they have stepped over the line in recent times.

If they sacked all the losers, pissheads and criminals they'd be worse than Melbourne.

You should have seen the disappointment on Dane Swan's face when he had an ice bath for the first time.
It wasn't what he expected.

You would agree that even though they are scrutinised during the off season, they ate still on a damn good wicket with their workplace drug policy compared to the average joe?

I've never had to piss into a cup (well, there was this one time, but let's not go there).

I'd be pretty angry if someone wanted to piss test me while I was on annual leave.

The average joe would have his failed drug test result splashed across every paper in the country.
