Wow, just before 5, huge thunderstorm around Vale PArk area etc, first for me, never seen a thunderstorm that buckets down hailstones the size of table tennis balls, 3/4 of an hour later yards are flooded but it is lighter outside than it was at 5

This is exactly why I don't take the bus,
I cause storms when I do.

Re: Soooooo, how's this weather?
I was woken about 4:30 by the wind and rain, the wind has just died off a bit and we've had just over 13mm of rain in that time, our poor little pug sat by the doggy door waiting for the rain to slow before she'd go to the toilet, finally she had to go and came back in soaked
I've had a rain gauge for 6 years now, this is the 1st time I've taken 400mm out of it before October and only the 2nd time before December

My back verandah has about 20mm of water over most of it at present.

There was a little bit of hail in that 10minute downpour. Was some of the loudest rain I have heard.

Re: Soooooo, how's this weather?
It's been ridiculously windy around the Port Adelaide area today and the rain, which has been heavy has been on and off. We have been sent home from work (paid
), due to the high winds the site has been declared unsafe. After last Friday where the workshop I work in was evactuated after one of the massive Whirly Bird Roof Venilators was ripped of the roof by the high winds I guess mangement is taking no chances and therefore sending everybody in day shift production home. You Beauty, see you later!!
