Would have been nice if we got the free and not Hawthorn for what they deemed was a suspendable act.

Well, considering it happened after the free-kick was paid for a throw, I think that is a ridiculous suggestion.

Otherwise Selwood could go ramming his head into anyone whenever he wanted and it would be a free kick. He almost does now.

yeah he has admitted that he milks some free kicks, so its not really earth shattering news

Over Selwood's career, he has a free kick record of 280 for, 129 against.

Compare that to fellow hard-nuts -

Sam Mitchell: 284 for, 268 against
Matthew Boyd: 171 for, 155 against
Chris Judd: 276 for, 189 against

While I'm on a roll, here is how Geelong have fared with the umps in recent seasons -

Frees for:

2007 - 1st
2008 - 1st
