Strange that Chicago looked the more disjointed team seeing as they basically brought back the same side as last year. They will need Hamilton to step up to get past Miami. Far too early to write him off but will be interesting to see how much he has left in the tank.
I don't think thety were the better team. If the Bulls didn't miss all those shots in the 3rd quarter they would of blown out the Lakers. Chicago made the game closer then what it should of been. Great defence from the BUlls caused the Lakers so many turnovers. While I'm on defence. If your still on here Gramahl. The commentators mentioned on numerous occasions that the Bulls were the best defensive team last season do you need any more proof of how right I was?
You fall asleep during the conference finals? You were proven wrong and I was proven right. Miami's defense when needed was better. Which was my whole point all last season, that the bulls, when they really needed to shut down a team, would struggle. In 4/5 games, Chicago couldn't keep Miami to under 20 points in the 4th with all those games well and truly alive. They even conceded 16 in OT in game 4. On the other hand, Miami kept Chicago to under 20 in 3 games. Over the whole series, in the 4th and OT, Miami won by 21 points based largely on keeping the bulls down when the game really mattered.
SO yet again you point to 5 games. The stat isn't for best defensive record in Eastern conference finals
