Re: Favourite city you have visited in World (inc Aust)
Barcelona, we visited there this time last year when we cruised around the Meditteranean
just loved the place, fantastic just to walk around the city up and down all the streets and alleys
and some great food, plenty of tapas places
absolutely loved it
also liked Dubrovnik inside the old wall, found a great little wine bar that had Powderfinger playing when we got there

For a holiday, probably San Antonio in Ibiza, though to actually live it's pretty hard to beat London.

This thread make me realise I've been pratically nowhere...
Melbourne is my favourite of the few places I have been.

Queenstown NZ, as previosuly mentioned.
I really like Perth too. Like most, a little sheltered and have not really travelled that much out side of Oz.

Probably the best city in Europe. Right up there with Paris and St Petersburg. Loved Vienna

Re: Favourite city you have visited in World (inc Aust)
having just returned from a two year European adventure, I can actually give my thoughts on this!
1) Berlin - fascinating place, so much history, massive contrast between West and East Berlin.
2) Mostar - beautiful place with a tragic recent past.
3) London - lived there so got to see it's good & bad sides, so much to do and a great place to live, but an hour tube ride to and from work each day can get a bit tiring!
4) San Sebastian -as mentioned above, love the pinxtos!
5) Barcelona or Istanbul - couldn't decide between the two - both great cities to visit.
It's so hard to decide on the above, also loved Prague, Stockholm, Reykjavik, Munich, Vienna, Fes.

Love Melbourne for all the sport and happenings, but thought Perth was brilliant during the only week I spent there.
