U12s was a tie between Jake Weidemann (WS) and Jackson Edwards(H) - sons of crows
U11s was won by Curtis Mead (SMOSH) - I think son of Darren
U13s Luke Zille (SMOSH) - or something like that
U14s J Scheepers (SMOSH)
U16s moved to the bar...

Keep in mind that Henley v SMOSH was due to take place at the end of the W/South v Seaton match.

Half way through the second quarter a lad from Seaton suffered, by all accounts, a horrific broken leg and hip injury. I wish the lad all the best in his recovery and trust he is being well looked after.

The time he was treated and taken from the ground by ambulance the game was running very late and was abandoned on the day, to be replayed this week.

As mentioned, all the best to the lad.

Darren was probs one of the best juniors I ever played against, shame he went down the wrong path!

Darren was probs one of the best juniors I ever played against, shame he went down the wrong path!

He was an absolute gun. I remember in U/9's He won the medal with 45 votes (from 16 games. He got 14 BOGS, 1 third and 1 second.) Steve Summerton came 2nd on 21 votes and third wasyours truly on 18 . More importantly, i won the door raffle that year

That lad was young Polec, younger brother of Jarred who's at the Brisbane Lions.

What side did you play for?

I played all of my juniors with or against summo, with before north haven folded and then against when he went to districts and i went to portland.
