So I guess what you're saying is that when Woodville and West Torrens merged, all supporters should have just left, and either supported another club or none at all?
Sometimes things are out of your control - and you have to take the good with the bad.
I have had NOTHING to do with the heritage of the West Torrens Football Club or the Woodville Football Club over the history of them both, just as YOU have had NOTHING to do with the heritage of the North Adelaide Football Club over it's historical years.
But apparently because you happen to be an NAFC supporter, and I happen to be a Woodville-West Torrens supporter, you're better than me.
At least, that's how you're coming across...
Not at all Dissident. And that not what I was saying either (although now you mention it

Only joking)
Sure, the history WWT does not compare to the history of NAFC, and I was a supporter of NAFC when they won the C of A so why shouldn't I be proud of that.
I don't disagree totally with you when you say that I have nothig to do with the history of the club, but on that basis there are very few who can claim they have, (ex greats, financiers and Wedgie to name a few) As a paid up member of NAFC in a small way I and all fans who contribute financially to their club become part of the history, as without fans the clubs wouldn't exist in the first place, but read the post that actually started this thread mate.I didn't actually make the distinction between the Peckers and WT, but there is one thing for sure, if North ever amalgamated with Port,(Heaven forbid

) there is no way I could stand there and chant Port, Port and I don't think there will be many other NAFC fans who could. IMHO
