Oval was terrible, we will pay the price tomorrow no doubt, plenty of ice!
Just thought id pay a mention to Scotty Mac today, the fella had a sore gut
during the prematch huddle and was on all fours throwing up and still come
out and kicked 11! Not a bad effort

very well played by BL today. too good in both grades.
terrible ovalits not the best but its not the worst, its what we've got, you wont need to play there again this year.
you blokes complained about alot today in both games.
a grade umpiring, while having no bearing on the final result, was some of the worst seen this year and in others. inconsistent and incorrect on far too many occasions. one against a BL player for a bump when one of our blokes shot for goal in the last quarter was just laughable and summed up the day

We know the oval isnt your fault but it is shocking...im surprised that they allow games of football to be played there. There is a nice tree root growing breaking the surface of the ground in one of the pockets for crying out loud not to mention the fact that it doesnt appear the ground has been watered since 1983....it seemed like cement with patchy grass on top.
At the end of the day winners are grinners and there will be alot of icing required tomorrow i think!!!

if its not the worst oval its pretty close its a sh@t hole simple as that.change rooms really good, food good, canteen staff good, but no footy should be played on that ground and no fault of your f.c sprint, and to think that saafl officials went down during the week and inspected it and give it the ok well that says it all. umpiring wasnt great agreed there mate we had one of those academy umpires and imo he was actually the better umpire out of the 2, but yeah some very silly decisions both ways i just wish they would let they game flow, and stop paying little ticky tacky free kicks.

the head honcho was actually down there at half time and out in the middle with the umpires....hopefully he can see that and put some pressure on the council to bring the oval upto standard
