Not sure what's happening there. I do know that when the list gets changed it alters the team on every user's profile. I'll get back to ya on that one.

yeah you guys are close. we have few good players wanting to come back a few from gumms but the only problem with that is not sure if they will be cleared. would be good to have them back as you said they are very good.. be very good to have them in would change central united right around. we have made a contest of the games we have played without them with them in might be enough to get a few wins in hopefully ;) .. when it comes down to it, got to wait and see if they get cleared. but as we are trying to turn the units around no one is a walk in. they will need to train and fight for a spot so have to wait and see ill know more tonight after training[/quote]
The garner boys our out at the Units every week watching training, don't do much training at Gumms.

What made St Pauls move & change their name?

Long story short is ties between the school and the footy club became a bit severed over the years. We found players from the college was drying up and we felt we weren't really wanted around anymore. So after playing the year out at Mawson Lakes Oval last year the club felt that along with the better facilities and the potential of the Mawson Lakes area that we'd be stupid not to take up this great oppurtunity.

We haven't forgotten our roots and still remember what St Paul's have done for us it was purely a decision that needed to be done if the club was to survive and fair to say it's been a great success so far both on & off the field...long way to go though!

Was a good decision the St Pauls Oval is a POS oval. I was surprised how bad its gotten, I don't remember it being that bad when I went to St Pauls. (Played cricket there over the summer). Looks like it was a good decision, you guys seem to be having a good season on the field as well.

Sacred Heart Vs Athelstone Should be a close game, with athelstone picking up were they left of last year, and SHOC's looking a bit stronger this year, Athelstone will need to stop SHOC's key player big Carrol up foward. raggies by 2-3 Goals
Flinders Uni Vs Glenunga Flinders are slowly getting it back together and will need to bring everything they have to knock of Glenulga and Goal kicking Midfield machine Chad Bourke, crab's by 3-4 Goals
Mawson Lakes Vs Modbury, Lakers will take advantage of an undermanned modbury and should win by 9+ goals
Central United Vs Angle Vale will be a tough hard fought game, with plenty of big bodies around the ball, if owl's come to play they should get up, angle vale by 4-5 goals
Adelaide Uni Vs TTG Can anyone stop the Blacks this year? uni by 5 goals

Best of Luck to Anthony Dodd this week, he is Playing his 150th Game for Flinders, hopefully the boys will rally and get up for big Doddy who is one of the main reasons the club still exists.
Best of luck to all the other teams this week.

Smithfield Football Club is holding a past players day at Mofflin Reserve on Sunday, with possibly up to 40 past players representing either Central United or Angle Vale we seen it fitting to have it there ;) .
All in all though, I think it should be a cracking game, both teams eager to keep their seasons alive and have produced some good results so far, hopefully they are both near full strength.
Special mention to Ricky Stansborough who has played for all 3 clubs.
