Great game from the dogs. North were always under pressure and eventually caved in.
Not sure why people are picking on Alleway. He played with a lot of guts today.

I truly love this site, made so by comments like that.

Gazza - that is a **** comment and you know it! Alleway is one of a few players that plays 100 percent with passion each week. Might be handy if he could play in the fwd line for the whole game and not have to carry our rucks in the absence of 3 other ruckman not being available at North.
To suggest he is not at the SANFL level smacks of arrogance to the max!

If thats the case, things are really going pear shaped out Prospect way
Hasn't been the same since you abandoned them.
On another note, sad to see a North supporter who has recently swapped over to Centrals. He looked quite happy strutting around in his new Centrals hat and scarf.

That DH North supporter behind the southern goals who spent the last quarter swearing and abusing the Centrals suporters and continually calling them ferals was an embarrasing joke and feral himself!
Now back to the football - Looking at the stats it is even more damning as to how he didn't pick O'Hara to ruck - we got killed in the hitouts! Obviously Ackland's knee operation at the end of 2009 was a full reco as he has been listed as an out for 4 weeks since the triual games started. North can't even be honest about that FFS! is
Time Mr. Healy to realise that Alleway is your best forward so play him at CHF and play a ruckman however with our current flooding defensive game and no ability to win a clearance our fwds have no hope and we are devoid of ideas how to move the ball quickly to give our fwds a chance. Our turnovers under pressure are deplorable and we can't even make basic sideways kicks and handballs when not under pressure and we were really exposed under constant pressure.
Whilst on the 'Tiser good to see them "talking up" Motlop who was very average and was killed by the run of Nash all day and then topped his day off with the cowardly act in the south-west pocket which didn't seem to get a mention - funny that!

Zorro wrote:Here's my summary of the Motlop incident in the pocket. I was 5-10m away.
Motlop lays a fairly heavy but legal tackle on a Centrals player near the boundary as he's disposing of the ball.
Centrals player retaliates and they wrestle and get up and exchange a couple of minor jumper punches.
Motlop flings the player into the fence head first in what can only be described as a bloody dangerous thing to do.
The Centrals player remarkably keeps gets up and keeps wrestling and about 4 mates including one of the Gowans come over to assist.
They wrestle Motlop over the fence until he's practically falling head first onto the concrete on the other side. A few supporters move in, one gets close to Gowans and gives him some verbal and the other tries to stop Motlop from hitting the concrete.
After some delay Weslo come around and just hang around, even standing right next to me for a few minutes before chatting to the guy who went near Motlop. The guy then gets escorted out.
I don't for a minute condone supporters going near players and hence I stayed out of it but I can understand how things happen in the heat of the moment. Talk of players being whacked is crap IMO, I was less than 10m away and didn't see any of that happen. Either way it was ugly and the aftermath was bemusing.
As for Centrals, thought their supporters were good today and in good numbers, the side was too strong, disciplined and hungry for us once again. How a side that's been in the past 10 GFs can want it more than one which hasn't had any success for nearly 20 years is beyond me, but full credit to Centrals.
North, I don't know what to say or think anymore. After last week I was shattered to lose but hopeful. Now I just feel flat.

Those scorelines are similar, with a dfferent team winning
tight first qtrs
the winning teams got a handy lead by half time
tight 3rd qtrs with the losing teams trying to claw back
massive last qtrs by the winning teams
