I am very confident he will be a class act at AFL level.

My bold prediction is that the Crows will win their next 3... With games V Port, V Richmond and @ North Melbourne, I really think all of these games are very winnable for the Crows. Mind you... in saying this, I did think we would be 4-0 after the first four games...

They were very, very good last week but the previous fortnight they were diabolical. If anything, their form last week shows that poor form can be turned around extremely quick.
Im still not sure we can win, but i can at least mount a bit of a case for us to get the points.

Round 3 - Brisbane in good nick and Brown was fit and flying. Not the best Port side that day on the park. Brisbanes first road trip of 2010 too. Always a good chance to get the guys to bond/fire up.
Round 4 - Geelong un-firl the 2009 flag and brush us aside with an outstanding display. Johnson bags 6 ( fair to say he hasnt done much else this year ) and Mooney,Chapman and Hawkins ( lazy sod ) all played well. Wont be the only side to lose to them by 15 goals this year and there is no doubt they are now a huge mental hurdle for us.
Round 5 - Beat the St's at their game. Boring as bat droppings at times but showed we have the poise in the back half and the targets up forward to kick winning scores. Therein lies the difference.
Adelaide cant kick a winning score.

i'd hardly call 7 goals 12 a match winning score... Adelaide's about the only side you could consistently kick that and win the match atm...
with Dangerfield and Knights definately out it is looking much more one sided...
Tippet will almost have to play a lone hand and MAYBE Craig will play Walker out of the square, BUT if that is the case he'll get either Chaplin or Carlisle and get beaten badly...
i think the game will be won by Port's defence. that seems to be a lot more solid than the Crows at the moment... the Crows won't kick more than 8 goals...

Was last weekendin all seriousness though i agree the games will be won in defence.
Port were kept to 7 goals only because there were 34 players in ports forward half.......not even the best sides would be able to score through that. The crows dont play the same style of football and have been leaking goals like a $1 sieve, yes port dont have the greatest forward line going around.....but at this stage i cant see where the crows are going to get their goals from...

If St Kilda can't beat Port doing this then how the hell can Adelaide expect to?

Whitey23 wrote:think about it though.... Port, while they have been winning, havn't had the toughest opposition going around...
Round 1 V North, led by 7 goals at the start of the last quarter and won by 14 points... at AAMI
Round 2 @ WCE, led by 4 goals at half time, won by 3 points
Round 3 V Bris, touched up
Round 4 @ Geel, once again... touched up
Round 5 V STK, I'll give them that one, they obviously played well to beat the Saints, but conditions did suit them...
I think port have been a bit lucky so far this season, its only a matter of time until they really get found out. I honestly don't think they are the team everyone is making them out to be.

We have been found out, watch round 4 on how to dismantle us completely. Point is will the crows be able to field a side capable of "Finding us out"?
