What a complete joke. Neil Craig is ruining Taylor Walker. With his natural talent (and injury free), he has the potential to kick 1000+ goals in his carreer and be our greatest goalkicker for decades to come. But no, Neil Craig has to play him in every position BUT full forward, ruin his confidence, then drop him.
If I were the Gold Coast or GWS I'd be sending recruitment staff to his place this afternoon with a contract in hand ready for him to sign.
As for the game itself, the way Adelaide have been playing this year, you cannot seriously tip them to win. While the Western Bulldogs' form has been erratic, at home, you'd expect them to win and win easily. For the first time ever, I'm tipping against the Crows!
Mate, Im a huge Walker fan, but I don't think anyone could say he's been pulling his weight enough to command a spot in the Crows lineup (not denying there's probably a dozen others in the same boat).
I have serious fears for Walks career, hope Im wrong, but I just get the feeling that his lack of height, tank, pace, size, natural athleticism in a game growing in speed yearly may well mean we don't all see from him what we probably originally had thought we would.
Also, I think if the Crows were in this position with another loss or two on the board, then I reckon we would have seen one of the older players sacrificed, but whilst there's a pulse (no matter how slight) they're opting for what they believe is their best lineup .. I think that puts Tippett, Porplyzia, Burton and Knights ahead of him unfortunately
