Funny, that was one of your real strengths under McGowan your discipline to set up for the kick in and your other stuctures.
Is it the defensive structure that isn't there or are the players being lazy/selfish to the defensive side of the game and not adhering to the structure in place.

The signs didn't sound too good early. We'd get within range and then North would kick away.
More importantly, we'd screw up our chances to go ahead. My impression was that we had our chances to win it, but would hand the ascendency back to North, who ran with it. They lead almost all day and ran out deserving winners by the sounds.
Alleyway had his name on a continual loop at RPH, every few seconds or so he was doing something, must have had a big game.
Had my first experience hearing the "Roosters" chant today. They put out a really cool "oo" sound with a lot of "oomph"! I am not sure how they look when they do it, but I couldn't help an image in my head of them flapping their arms like the people in the "Chicken Tonight" ad all those years ago. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I just think they should know that's how it sounds.

Possibly from what I saw
Umpires sometimes try and assert thier authority on the game
They did today
Early on NA kicked a goal and then recieved another free in front of goal for an infringement b4 the ball went back to the centre bounce up
From memory it was NA first 2 goals of the game
Fair enough it was there, but sometimes the umps let it go
QUESTION
Why dosent a NA player get the next kick from the middle instead of in front of goal ?

Yep the law is what the players gotta abide by, still think its harsh though
Been informed by a studious NA barracker that Chambers staged the non free kick
I was on the outer centre wing and it appeared a free kick
Anyone else see it ?
