I've never been a believer in Good Friday football and never will be, no matter how passionate I am about the game and the SANFL.
in my opinion it's all well and good that those who do hold those beliefs partake in whatever the day means, but why should those who don't evectivley be forced to?
Nobody is saying anyone has to watch the footy, but those who have no issue with it being played should be able to have the option.
I think it's rather ridiculous that in this day and age, a religion can dictate what everyone can and can't do on a certain day, regardless of weather people belong to, or beleive in that religion.
