Is that the shoes first loss of the year? Its generally about this time of the year that the collars on their cricket shirts begin to tighten! :Hangman:

The collar on Coller's shirt never tightens.
Looking forward to an exciting and competitive finals series.
Pegs v tazz. Lets do it!!!

Coller is the iceman (except when it comes to poker) and no surprise he helped the shoes end long list of chokes in last years finals.

Tazz has Pegs covered in most contests especially sculling but it would be a close battle in a beauty contest!

I might have to make an appearance to watch two blokes that carried me to a flag battle it out!

is there a chance tazz could even get pegs in a beard growing contest if he tried

No chance of beating him in a beard growing contest.
Lion Heart. Wasnt it some bloke called Rooster that carried us to the grand final?

If you are referring to the SFL President coming from Kangarilla I can honestly come to his defence. I happened to be present in my role as local scribe to get the venues, and I heard it all going down.
It was a matter brought up by the Junior Co-ordinator (who has sons involved with the Shoes). It concerned a match played earlier in the year where bonus points were picked up in overs that should not have been bowled.
The President was clearly embarrassed about the whole matter and clearly stated he was opting out of all discussion and voting.

No reference to Gary at all! The man is straight up and I for one would never question his credability.

I was aware of what happened as was as they say being sarcastic.

As for the winners this week???

OK, Heres my tips for the weekend in the Seniors...
A Grade
Shoes Vs Cove... Shoes in a very close game but could go either way after Cove getting up last week
Port Vs Kangies... Congrats to Kangies on making the finals but Port should have the finals experience to win this one

B Grade
Shoes Vs Porties... Best two teams by a mile but should be a good game even though the shoes hold a 3-0 record over Porties this year...Shoes straight through to the GF
Flaggies Vs ICC...Flaggies should beat an inconsistent ICC team but ICC the only team to beat the Shoes this year so could go either way.

C Grade
Kangarilla Vs Morphettvale...Morphies are a strong team and my tip to win the C Grade flag
Porties Vs Hamilton...Porties to bounce back after losing to Hamilton last week and will play Kangys next week

Good luck to all involved, hope the weather is kind.

MY TIPS

A grade Cove v noarlunga - COVE ( Too many batsmen that can make a big score Shoes only have a couple )
A grade Porties v kangarilla - PORTIES ( Again cant see Kangarilla making enough runs rely on one batmen )
B grade Noarlunga v Porties - NOARLUNGA ( After a come from behind win last week against good opposition should have the edge)
B grade Flaggies v ICC - FLAGGIES ( Flaggies after a huge score last week )
C grade Kangarilla v morphett vale - MORPHETT VALE ( not sure why ? )
C grade Porties v hamilton - PORTIES ( who are hamilton? )

Games would be reduced to a One-Dayer. If a result still not possible, highest placed side in minor round goes through.

Yeah, I had a pretty good suspicion it was a "tongue in cheek" comment Shoe Boy, as I was sure you are as aware as I am that Gary is as straight as a steel rod.
Just thought compelled to back him up in case there were some on here who don't know him as well as you and I do.
There are not enough people in the world with this man's sort of integrity and honour.
