well, all the recent talk about Imperials is quite true. They have an advantage in where they are situated (as do ramblers) and their ability to generate money before other clubs is quite obvious.
The comparison with Jervois over locals in their teams sees Jervois way in front in their Premiership years. Jarvis, Hill, Crouch, Burkett x 2, Baxter, Mason, Gazzola, Braun, Jackson, Heading x 2, Richards, Jaensch. Imperials don't seem to promote many of their "home grown" juniors, they get juniors from other clubs, even Wingard and O'brien, are a bit dicey, they started at Mypolonga.
It is a club decision at Imps, and they will live or die by those decisions, if they keep their real locals, that is terrific, but if they lose them, well it is something they will have to live with.
