Yes.Spaghetti bolognese is another one - only time my kid will ever eat celery. At all other times he insists it's gross and he'll never eat it, but he doesn't notice it mixed in with the pasta sauce.

I used to do it with my ex - he who swears that vegies make him vomit, owing to a supposed allergic reaction. He never noticed that there were carrots in the pasta, and he certainly didn't vomit either. One time he did notice his mum doing the same thing, though - talk about World War III. He was going on about 'betrayal of trust' and slamming his hand into the side of the fridge.

When I was in high school I had a boyfriend who reckoned he hated pumpkin. But he wasn't very bright and couldn't tell the difference between pumpkin and carrot, so he ended up eating pumpkin quite a lot anyway!
