If Rucci was any good as a football writer, he would of been poached by a Melbourne paper by now.

And I haven't bought or read a 'tiser in years, so the "don't buy or read it" strategy doesn't seem to be working.

I listened to Demetriou yesterday.

It's patently obvious that the AFL support the SANFL's actions in the Port matter.

He also spoke about the stadium deals.

MR ran with that.

Michelangelo, do you still maintain your nonsense about the AFL taking back the licences from the SANFL?

Stop reading his columns and reacting to them. All ur doin is helping the Advertiser sell papers. More papers they sell the longer Rucci stays.

Simple really.

If i want quality journalism, i certainly wouldnt be lookin through the Advertiser

Easy...Boycott the Advertiser! (If you haven't already)

I can't remember the last time I bought an Advertiser (I usually only read a hard copy it if I'm dining in at Hungry Jacks). Thanks AdelaideNow - I can read/laugh at the gutter journalism and not contribute one cent of my money to News Corp.

Can Geoff Roach please take over from Rucci? See article on page 90, for some succint common sense. Ruccis articles over the week have been a farce! "Media Watch" would tear the Advertiser apart with that crap journalism. Propoganda and inuendo equals Rucci.

I overheard someone yesterday having their hair-cut at the barbers suggesting Rucci might be a horse's hoof?

Not really relevant (like much of the stuff he writes), but surley not?

Because it's one of the few publications we have in this state that does occasionally provide SANFL content. Also in order to comment/debate a topic it's good to get all views, even the ridiculous ones. Furthermore some less informed South Australians actually believe what he writes because they have no other information sources, such as this website.

Dont need to read his crap, or the Advertiser, anything you want to know about SA Footy (any footy or sport actually) is found right here on this site and it is a hell of a lot more accurate than the trifle dished up by some journos around the country and in particular this State

They're not. I don't understand your context.
But when you have a discussion with them and they spruik Ruccis views, they can be educated by those that are better informed, those that do have exposure to this website.

Why wouldn't he be happy with the SANFL decision.

The essence of the decisions made Tue night Wed morning was that the SANFL is prepared to ensure the survival of one of his (the AFLs) clubs - Port Power but is prepared to send one of their (the SANFLs) clubs to the wall.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

This is why it seems odd that Port Power fans are cackling that the AFL is going to rip the licences off the SANFL. Why would they over a SANFL club going under?
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Exactly. Rucci's suggestions on this were always ridiculous.
