Just tuned into 5AA.. that was a press conference?
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Love your work and no offence mate, but can you actually advise us when some news occurs? Not when you add a sentence or change a time?

According to latest Channel 9 update a NO vote will cause the death of the Port Adelaide Football Club and 140 years of history........so, at the risk of re-igniting the age old debate......who is that playing in the AFL ?

loved the comment just now by the reporter on chanel nine. they showed the haysman comments then the "reporter" says, if the clubs dont vote for it it could mean the end of port adelaide with over 140 years of history. i didnt realise 1997 was so long ago! i must be older than i realised!

Edit, mr irate beat me to it!!!

who is that playing in the AFL i read you ask Mr Irate......it is a franchised football team using the port name ;)

who remembers the port grand finals in the late 70's into the early 90's & a group would walk around the outer with a coffin ? well they may well be walking around the outer with their clubs ashes in it....
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Regardless of the ae old debate, a reporter will always try to sensationalise it, well from Channel 9 they will ;)

I find this somewhat surprising given the rational balanced view presented by Rucci over the last couple of days

Mate of mine just got back from there and said Ch 9 and Ch 2 were the only ones down there when he left.
So much for a "big" football story.

The SANFL does not exist for Chanel 10 and Chanel 7 - Never has and never will.
