Murali for Dizzy and Smith for Sehwag and I agree with your test side. Kallis can be the 3rd seamer to allow 2 spinners to play.

I agree with your personell but I would give the captaincy to Warne even though he didn't get the gig for Australia. We all know why Warne didn't get the gig but I have never heard anyone who knows more about Cricket than Warney. He even puts Richie to shame. The way he discusses his bowling plans and how he is thinking about getting batsmen out makes me think that Australia lost a huge opportunity by not making him captain. Make Warne skipper in 2005 and we win the Ashes IMO.

I agree completely and wanted to make Warne captain but since it's just a novelty side i decided on a bloke who had actually captained his side. Warne is the best captain Australia never had no doubt about it.

Was thinking that sangakarra would have been close to gilly and these figures suggest the same. I dont think alot of the sri lankans get the credit they deserve when making these teams. That said gilly obviously deserves to be in the team of the decade

I think from now on, if you (anyone) want to make up a thread about team of decade etc. you should make it the team of the 00s - to save bandwith on topics such as these.
