If he does I wish him luck, with a bit of confidence and fitness he's a bloody good player, I certainly haven't a bad word to say about him from my experiences with him at North and hope he does well (but not too well against us as he used to!

Schwarze might feel he has a lot better opportunities back at the Eagles and is familiar with the surroundings there and if there was one reason he left there which is now gone why not return?

Well he hasn't been officially named as Eagle YET!!
I know before he went to North that Westies were falling over themselves to get him perhaps he will head there.

Would be interesting if he does turn up back at Oval Ave, no doubt the guy can play and on his day could win a game off his own boot, but 1 good game in every 4 or 5 won't cut it these days..regardless of where he plays...his attitude on the ground reminded me a bit of Matty Richardson..could do anything if he put his mind to it.

Laird nervous as pack of Dogs eyes AFL shot
CENTRAL District could be left in "turmoil" should the Bulldogs lose the bulk of their eight mature-age players to nominate for this year's AFL draft.
Having secured its eighth premiership from 10 successive grand finals, the SANFL powerhouse is suddenly under serious threat from AFL rivals searching for "talented twenties" as well as "talented teens".
Headed by former North Melbourne goalsneak Eddie Sansbury, delisted Power ruckman Jon Giles and hard-working Brayden O'Hara, the list of Dogs hoping to be thrown a lifeline is so extensive, it has left coach Roy Laird feeling "nervous".
"It would create absolute turmoil, to be honest," said Laird, when confronted with the worst-case scenario on November 26. "It's certainly not a number we'd be expecting to go but it's very unpredictable so who knows?
"So we've got to be prepared for the second draft (pre-season) with some replacements in toe and obviously some juniors would get an opportunity.
"But it (worst-case scenario) could cause us some major headaches."
It is understood Geelong has been keen on eye-catching Ben Nason, while clever forward Scott Dutschke is coming off a career-best season. Former Power midfielder Ryan Williams will be hoping for a second chance, while Trent Goodrem would have turned heads after winning this year's Jack Oatey Medal.
"We'd become nervous in the type of player we have got in that 20-23 (age bracket)," said Laird, adding the club expected to lose young guns Daniel Menzel and possibly Jack Hannath.
"They're senior-framed players with great work attitudes, character of person and talented natural footballers.
"For those individuals we wish them the best of luck but from a club point of view, selfishly, we hope to keep most of them."
Grand finalist Sturt could be hit hard if Michael Coad departs Unley, while fellow Double Blues Patrick Fittock and Josh Cubillo were surprise nominees.
Former Sydney Swans James Meiklejohn (Port Magpies) and Sam Rowe (Norwood) could be enticing for an AFL club seeking to add size to its list, while delisted Crows pair Nick Gill and Greg Gallman (North) have also thrown their hats into the ring.
This year's joint Magarey Medallists Rhys Archard (North) and James Ezard (West) have given themselves another opportunity to be drafted, with 23-year-old Ezard more likely to add to the four AFL games he managed with the Power in 2006.
"Whether or not those players have a trait that the (AFL) scouts don't like, I'm not sure," Laird said. "These days they've become very heavily athletic based and somewhere there might be a measurement which reads low in their sprint or aerobic capacity, I don't know. But certainly our boys, in our team environment, they've proven successful for us so if they can get into a good culture and AFL group, our blokes certainly won't go wondering in terms of workrate because they're all very good in that area."

Has Dutschke already gone? I thought I read he was moving to the Gold Coast.
