I'd expect top 3, hope we can make another GF and go one better. While it will come into play next year, I think all clubs will start getting nervous about the looming AFL raid on the SANFL, so depends how we fare with that. Made finals in all grades so there's a bit of depth.

I expect West will be the biggest improvers next year. They will move further up the ladder than Norwood...

As long as we see the season out I dont care where we finish. Bigger worries than ladder position at Alberton...

Hard to picture us doing much at all unless we jag a good coach and bring in at"least"five or six new quality players into the squad!
I am so over watching other teams playing finals football! Participation in only one finals series in 17 years is totally _hit house!!!
At the moment we are the equivalent of the Richmond football club! A losing culture and mentality!!! :(
I truly hope we can lift our game!!! 9th!

You did have a good coach at the start of last year with Cahill and look what happened.

Would like to think that Basset will have a positive influence on the Legs...with luck should finish around 4th or 5th....might be even higher if the players decide they want to play for the coach...

Next year is shaping up to be a cracker of a season. With the 2009 finalists (CD, Sturt, Glenelg, WWT and North) unlikely to drop back much and Westies and Norwood on the improve there should be plenty of competition for finals spots. Not sure if Port or South will challenge.

It's going to be a long off-season :(

4th or 5th. I am confident we will make the finals next year.

Where we finish will depend mainly on how we go against the likes of Eagles, Norwood and North.

I can't see us finishing ahead of Centrals, Glenelg or Sturt but in a best case scenario, the teams mentioned above, could all finish below us.

I can see Norwood going either way ... We certainly have the potential to improve, but if the culture is crap then generally that will be reflected onfield, there is bonafide wide-spread change required at the Parade and that takes time (if it all).

Bass as a coach is an unknown and he's going to need a fair bit of time in charge to see much genuine change IMHO ... At best I think Norwood challenge for 5th position, at worst we'll fight it out with this years bottom 2 again.

Going out on a limb here... I reckon Norwood will contest a league Grand Final within the next three years.

Strewth Ruth!! I like your optimism mate ... It's not out of the realms of possibility, but they need to change off-field methods and mindsets of many decades to achieve it.

Hopefully they are serious about doing so this time around.
