I wonder how long it will take for someone to blame Ironbank for this

But if they didn't know the rules this year they must have their head in the sand, especially considering last years situation.

If ya make finals and lose - IMO ya just get thrown into the same bucket as all other sides for that year. Harndorf, Lofty all in the bucket with Bridgeys and birdwood and Lobey!!

well that is un under statement. every team knows this plan but no one has been able to stop them yet. and i cant see uraidla being able to either. who plays on these forwards from the uri backs? because blackwood still have some handy rotating midfeilders down there that have to be watched also.

well maybe just keep ur opinion to yourself cos u obviously have no idea.. maybe learn to spell harndorf (assume ur talking about hahndorf) before u waste ur own time commenting .. comparing hahndorf and lofty with bridgy and lobethal is absurd.. no one shows any form of respect to the bottom few clubs as they do not warrant it...yet im sure every club out there wouldnt enjoy coming up against the top 4 sides in the league cos they are on a diff level to the rest..

It is a pretty simple rule really and all officials at clubs should understand it. When both teams are playing players can shift between grades at any time. If the A Grade are knocked out players in the Bs have to have played more B grade games than A grade games unless a permit is sought due to injury or work commitments etc and is granted by the HFL.
Simple as that!!

the rules are very interesting. I can not see why a player who has qualified for B grade finals by playing x number of games in the B grade and then has played ALL their finals in B grade and NONE in A grade (ie Fleet, Broadbridge and Stapleton) needs a permit to continue playing B grade finals if the A grade is knocked out? This makes absolutely no sense at all.

Confucius, clearly you share nothing in common with your name sake except the spelling.
