If I remember correctly, the win in the 2003 final was after we hadn't beaten Sturt in the minor round (or any of the other top 3 teams for that matter). For us Eagles fans, let's hope it's the same story.

i would say that sturts opponent this week is a lot better team than the one they played last year (norwood)

I have no doubt the Eagles are a much better 1st-semi side that the Norwood of last year, but I also wouldn't discount the resolve of Sturt as a club to come out fighting this week and I also think they'll prove that there is a gap between the top 3 sides and the rest.
