Glenelg could well play Sturt another two times before this year is out. However I look forward to playing Sturt with Grima, Fisher, Holmes and at least one of our AFL blokes. Mind you Sturt will have Thurstans, McLeay and possibly Reilly (if he's released by the Crows - like a couple of ours he could be held back for post-season trades or surgery). Not saying he will or that ours will, but the reality is both teams could be lookng at fringe players during the trade period.
So roll on September

The team isn't playing brilliantly one week and poorly the next, they're stringing together whopping victories against teams below them but then getting smacked down by Glenelg. That's the second time this year that a run of great wins has been ended by Glenelg...

I gather you're basing this on Glenelg being pumped by Central twice this year, while Sturt beat Centrals easily... and there being only two grand finals in which Central have played either of us, one in which Glenelg got pumped, one in which Sturt pumped Central.
I think you might need to reassess mate!
I think its probably more accurate to say that Centrals have the wood on Glenelg, Glenelg have the wood on Sturt and Sturt do a decent job of matching Central these days, so evens there...

I didn't mean that you'd be up and down on a week to week basis but that Sturt seem to get a few good wins on the board and then have a nasty habit of suddenly falling into a huge heap. Example 1: Last years finals series. Looked very good going into the finals then choked against Centrals, followed by a cheap win against Norwood then smashed by Glenelg. Example 2: Matches this last June. Flogged Centrals, then caned by North then lost to Glenelg...
Sturt (and Centrals) most important match other that finals is next weekend...
