Not sure if I subscribe to the "Loss they had to have" theory, but this loss will do St.Kilda no harm, and it will only help to highlight any problems that may have been camouflaged in victory. Saints are still the best team in the competition and I expect them to play in the GF, possibly against Collingwood. Another 1 point GF?

Yeah the irony wasn’t lost me either.

Credit must go the Bombers. Given that we kicked the opening 3 goals, it was a 10 goal turn around they instigated to be up by 7 goals.
