As a Norwood fan Im inclined to agree with you, obviously with a fair degree of bias ... Why the relevance to Killigrew though? (genuine question, I dont go back that far)

Killigrew came into the club without any preconceived ideas or past knowledge of internal politics. He told the club what he was going to do and the "political correctness" crap wasn't around so when he said something, he meant it and it got done. No 'if's and buts', just action.
Too many clubs nowadays want to appoint someone from within but that most times is frought with danger and leads to issues from within. At least an outside perspective can bring a club some balance, albeit sometimes for only a short time.
