There are 6 weekends left of football in the GSFL.
So if Willunga do make it, I'd say that means he can play the GF ??

Do's this put Genners out of a grand final???
As a players advocate I find the decision on the lad that pleaded NOT GUILTY and found Guilty very strange as You usually get one for your plead?
Obviously the 8 week lad had priors?

I'm wondering why the incident was reported on 18th of July and only just been 'heard' ??
Does that mean he's still been playing between then and now??
I suppose it does.

It will come down to whether Willunga finish top or win the 2nd semi final... in both of those scenarios they would get a week off. If either of those things occur he will miss the GF (should they make it).

I dont know what planet your from skimmer but I believe you should get your facts right before having a go a someone , never did i say that i was the best umpire or one of the better ones , secondly i dont believe i gave out any secret information , all i gave was an opinion which this site allows you to do . If the umpiring people are unhappy with me about talking about the game then so be it , I took up umpiring to stay involved in the game . If they dont want me then thats fine and I'll walk away . Atleast get your facts right before having a go .

I am not 100% familiar with the Davenport situation but I did hear along the lines that he was sent off twice against Willunga and with the rule 3 send off's in two years is a automatic 2 weeks holiday he would have 4 matches from this rule then must have been given 4 weeks for the headbutt incident. He has not played since the Willunga game.

Once again it looks to me like the GSFL on all those cases went pretty lightly on offending players, do you guys/girl agree?

Compared to what?

Compared to the AFL?... yes they were pretty light sentences.

Compared to previous cases heard before the GSFL tribunal?... probably about right.

Anyone else notice the difference between the 2 penalties for head butting? Interesting :-k
Im not condoning what Gennas did but i personally feel for the guy as i know its out of charcter for him. Massive on field loss for Willunga, they will miss his toughness. I can see the old bull Baxter & the grumpy carnavale now playing a massive part on where Willunga finishes. These guys must fire come finals & feed there runners.

Bit of triva. Myponga has never won a colts flag, unless you count the 1989 mini colts flag which a few of us hang our hats on  Both colts sides will play finals at pongy & have a chance, LF your going down  , which is a credit to Chris Rowntree & Damien "Sarge" Smith who have developed these kids for a number of years. =D>

Genovese is a massive loss. His class, toughness & experience will severely dent Willunga's premiership hopes.

Fair to say, Pilmore and the boys wouldn't be overly impressed.

He could play in the Grand Final IF Willunga lose top spot to the Creeks then LOSE the Qualifying final then WIN the 1st semi and Prelim. Thats 5 matches, 100/1 that this scenerio would happen and if it did, would u pick a player that hadn't played for 6 weeks?

Looking more and more likely that it's the CREEKS premiership to lose and we've seen them do that b4.

what odds for willunga losing top spot to creeks, win qualifying, lose second semi and win prelim? thats also five games and based on results this year highly likely. willunga/creek gf and genovese would play.
