As i have said before there are no two players we would swap the Gowans boys for and maybe if your team had players that played with passion you would have made more grand finals than the one this decade.Instead you have all these outside players who dont know how to win the hard ball which is required in finals which is also why Glenelg have your measure now as they are producing those quality's in there game style.
This is why it will probably be a repeat GF from last year because when the pressure is on you will choke.
Geez... toss the toys out of the pram time here... a couple of supporters say one thing about the Gowans and its like someone spat in your Mum's face or something... relax dude... obviously that one time you met us in the grannie, where you bent over and took it hard cuts deep... no matter how much crap you spin like the above, you'll never get that one back.

The Bays stuff is debatable, but your comments regarding the Dogs are spot on. We have seen this pattern many times before. When the Dogs drop two finals in a row, or finish fourth or lower, will be the time to talk about the changing of the gaurd. But as long as they get their top three finish they are alive and dangerous.
This was a great result for West, I believe the Dogs do have a certain level of pride they want to protect, but in the long run I don't believe this is a game that is going to stick in their ribs,

Are Centrals laying doggo so their odds drift and they can get better odds for their flag win??? Despite the loss I still rate the dogs as faves for the flag as we know they peak for late August, September/October so something must be amiss today. Having said all that well done Westies as you can't argue with beating the flag faves and reigning premiers. You have defiantely done well today and helped your neighbouring Bays out in a big way....
We're still a silly chance for the minor premiership![]()
No way, Bays would have to be flag favourites. The Dogs have (obviously) been the side of the last decade. This season has seen the beginning of the end of that reign. Still a great team, but the psychological dominance is evaporating.

I would love for the dogs to get the chance to avenge that defeat but there's not much we can do when your mob have consistently fallen over when it mattered, ever since. 2002 was just a part of the journey for us, and what a magnificent journey it has been!!!!!!![]()

You've got that exactly right. The Gowans twins might go off the boil from time to time or do something stupid here and there, but ultimately, any honest supporter would gladly have had them at their club this decade.
