Prousey is safe, it was always going to take longer than a year. Would be great to snatch a win or 2 though. Club atmosphere is better than it was even in the good years, which is not meant to be any disrespect to Scotty Leal. Yesterday the first half was pretty competitive but fell away badly after half time
ive heard prouse doens't know much about the football caper, and for the team to progress they need to appoint a more astute football brain to take the reigns.

$2.25 - Mark Brant - Unlucky to have been axed from the Cawler Central contingency last year, which decided to go in favour of one of there own mini buses.
$3.50 - Simon Koch - What he doesnt know about the opposition isnt worth knowing, played as Seelanders 2IC for a number of years and would see the Lions as an oppotune club to start his A-Grade coaching career.
$3.55 - Simon Johnson - Ran a close second behind Herzick when originally appointed, was invited into the blue room for discussions late last year by Callender. May be the man for the job, impact coach!
$4.55 - Shane Broad - Will the club go for a younger variaty of coach, has had successfully coached at A-Grade level and may be an appointment with a long term vision.
$5.20 - Rian Nelson - Lions may want to go for a seasoned BL&G coach if he parts company with the pups.
$6.25 - Matt Hermann - Seems to have his lobists backing from his Gawler Central contingency, although they can be very easily impressed.
$6.50 - Malcolm McGrath - Would the Mesiah be prepared to dust off the coaching board and bring the club back to their glory days.
$7.50 - Darren James - Can talk under water, has spent a little time at CDFC and may be looking to also start coaching senior footy in BL&G.
$19.00 - Ben Burgess - Looking for a chance of returning to a Blue & White variety after an apprenticeship in the APFL
$25.00 - Jeff Brown - A real roughie, will the Lions try and lure the former coach from his CDFC role.
$80.00 - Luke McCraken - May be a smokey with the current reserves side sitting in the four.
$999.99 - Texas Rattlesnake - Appears to go missing when the going gets tough.

drifter wrote:Prouseys football brain works just fine. The honest truth is that the club probably has about a dozen bonafide A grade players at the moment, and a few kids in progress. The top 8 are probably as good as anybodys, but our depth from there is definetely at the lower end of the comp, which makes all the difference. He doesn't have the cattle, yet. The club will work to improve this from within, I can think of at least 6 Senior colts players who will add to the depth next year. Then obviously we need a couple of well selected recruits from outside.

Yeah, fair call days, 8 is probably stretching it, although I would probably add Kemp to that list. Next year we will also have a fit Parish, now he has finally had his ankle done which has hobbled him for the last 2 years. The 2nd tier of Heinrich, B. Muster,Wright, Barry, Leinert, Thatcher, Mc Millan, Haseldine and Cocks are starting to find ways of having an impact in a less dominant side, although not for whole games yet. By the way who would you say were in your top 8?
