Yep, grade 3 will be the real test - top vs bottom in that comp will be a disgrace. Got to be very careful of change though - it seems like the ghost of Frank Carter is living on within PDCA!

There are so many negatives in an eight team comp at the present day. I cant see any team being relegated from last year. There are too many spaces in every grade . Teams that got flogged last year will not go down. You will see at this stage six eight team grades with possibly 11 teams left over. This is of course if no one else pulls out. There are big question marks if Eliz East will continue their rise. Interesting to see how many clubs nominate the same amount of teams.
Too many clubs are sitting on their hands thinking everything will be OK. We are in 2009/10. Time for changes. If change is not made now, this is the start of the end for PDCA. One big club has left, how many others will follow?

Brilliant...Look how even the gradings are. There is flexability to play 2 day games 40 over, 35 overs or 20/20. Weeks to have byes, for long weekends or Adelaide test matches. The season, thanks to certain councils has to finish by the middle of March, or some of our northern teams cannot host a final. This format will incorporate that. All clubs need to seriously look at this format.

If churches is surviving, then you should have no worries. Just a question however, is it time for a north and south hard wicket competitions?

Looks like the grade 1 comp will be pretty strong. Angle vale are a real chance of taking it out.

that is a great call maybe they should but i cant see the best church league even match it in grade 2 or 3 but im sick of a grade teams like eliz east smashing the b grade or even a c grade comp by storm.. its weak and the a grade teams should be in 1 or 2.. our c grade played them last year and i heard they were cocky as.. so y not let there a grade step up..

Hey TrueRoo or 84, if that list was submitted to all of the clubs, I reckon you would find a swing in the direction for the 6 team comp, I think the biggest issue is that some clubs felt as though they would not get their promotion rights or will go down without deserving it.
Now a draw needs to be made up to show clubs the advantages.

Has there been any "official" word on St. Pauls shutting up shop or is it still just speculation?
