His job is to do whatever Andy Flower and Andrew Strauss want him to do. If they think they have nothing to gain by putting him out there for 3 overs then that is fair enough and IMO they are right. Like i said what have they got to gain by sending KP into bat? He can not get his eye in for day 2, he is very unlikely to make any more than 5 and is every chance of being dismissed. How does it harm the team by having him sit in dressing room and wait until the next day to come into bat?
