There were 2 teams out there, and the First incident was started by No 27 from
MYPONGA who belted Shane Mitchell. As stated by Kick N Catch age has nothing to
do with it in Senior Footy, they Too (the Young Myponga Players) wanted to be in the
ALL IN MELLIE. The Umpires are the one's who need to take some ownership in what
happened, they were Parthetic, they wern't the differance in the game as Myponga
were always going to win. They couln't control a good fart! The umpires were lucky
no player wasn't seriously hurt cause there were some almighty haymakers thrown!
1 Red Card (Will Tampara) & 2 players sent off.
If i was umpiring both teams would have had about 12 -15 blokes sittn on the bench!
Interesting comment singman. A number of your players did apologise. Including Craig Littley and Shirley and Dick Littley all so Tom Hooper who openly said he hates his coach and would like to go elsewhere. The umpire in control at the time "Glen Godfrey" who umpired the last 2 southern grand finals was given this game on special direction from the leauge as there is genuine concern on Shane Mitchels actions and those of a couple of players he bought with him. These are quotes from umpires. Encounter Bay have a great club with great people but have an idiot as an A grade coach. The umpiring was good what was not was the actions of 2 or 3 of your players who were being led by MITCHEL GET RID OF HIM APPOINT BAGGSY OR LITTLEY your club needs to unite.

(Randel Neale to takeover if he is moved on)
finally i just hope everyone gets behind swainy and mick millard and co. these blokes put too much time and effort into the club to have to put up with what they are now.

Does anyone else find all this amusing - that a coach appointed in his first year at a club would be up for review after round 6. If this is the case surely it would done in house with only the President and one or two of the committee aware of the situation rather than being made open discussion for all and sundry.

Its the first time i have seen Willunga this year, so its interesting to hear you say that you played your best footy in the second half. Not making excuses, but if Goolwa used the ball better and had an effective marking option up forward i think the end scoreline would have been much closer. The Magpies probably didnt deserve to get done by so much in the end. Like all teams who are trying to rebuild, injuries will hurt them more than other clubs with more depth, and i thought the Magpies put up a spirited performance.

Some may say that you'd do these things to give you that little extra in your favor when reappointment came up but in his case I don't believe this to be so.
Hope things go well for him this year and for Encounter Bay.
