So would Div 1 beat Div 2?? Why isn't that then the association game, instead of playing BLG in some game that in all honesty no one really gives a crap about? I reckon you would have a massive crowd and the players would be very keen to prove they play in a strong comp.
It may be slightly more interesting at the moment with a few extra quality players in the top Div 2 sides, but in the longer term it would result in too many drubbings and be pointless.
I agree that BLG is somewhat pointless, bring back lovelock or atleast the riverland trip. Good times.
Apart from the fact that the BLG is probably one of the only associations that could beat you. little scared to get smashed again are we's?
My point had nothing to do with strength of BLG, simply that blokes have to be interested in playing. Riverland trip was a great bus trip and there was always genuine interest in Lovelock when we played against our neigbouring comps. I don't see the point in playing against the same league year after year, switch it around.
Maybe we play your b grade cause your a grade team are to bloody one minded to play for their association, this is not my fault. Maybe if you wanna play your strongest team have tribunal and suspensions for players that have no good excuse. I'll be at hahndorf mate, i'll make a point to come see ya to mate, i know where you'll be
