An absolute knob head at Compass yesterday dedcided to 'burn off' trees before, during and after the footy/netball sending thick smoke accross the complex all day. It was a bloody tough day for asthmatics by all reports, why would someone be so stupid? Take your smoke masks to the mount because it sounds like it will be happening every home game due to a dispute with the neighbour.
On a positive compass oval was an absolute treat to play on and although we had some players out, the magpies snuck in by 3 points!!!!!

was at this game spectating and the smoke was terrible. Was bad enough from the side lines let alone playing. Who was standing number 20 for compass LF? reckon he would have had 40 posessions. Think Goolwa got over theline in the end just but still have a lot of work to do to match it with victor this week.

Well I had 3 opponents and i think they were all in best so was it me? I dont know who wore number 20, i think it may have been Burdett. If it was then I would say that no one was on him. Typical midfielders they never bloody man up!!!

Tough one to pick, both sides have had their moments but Mclaren Vale for me. Could go either way.
Gotta go with Langhorne. Will be too big for Compass and will start to gel with their new recruits settling in.
Victor for me, there top 4-5 players are as good as any in the comp and will trouble all sides. In saying that it will be a battle of the midfields with whoevers midfield gets on top winning as both defences are undersized against the big forward lines!
Strath should take this one comfortably, especially on the big E Bay oval where the speed should be too much.
Willunga to win, when playing Yank you always know youve played a game, there a hard physical team but we should get back to playing the way we want to after straying from the plan last week! The season is shaping as open as its been for a long, long time.
