Good work by Bayern, they blitzed Sporting home and away who are not good enough for this level.

Real have been on fire in La Liga since Juande arrived (their 1-1 slip up against niegbours Atletico on the weekend aside). They're just rubish in Europe. They have been for years too. Even when they had the Galacticos side.

I think a bit of credit to the way Liverpool played wouldn't go astray.
I can safely say that if Casillas wasn't in goal Liverpool would've scored 7-8 .
I'll also add that after the game had finished I thought that it was probably the most complete, attacking and domineering game I'd seen from them since they did Forest 5-0 in 1988.
I'd mention the 7-0 spurs game in 1978 but I like DA on these forums.![]()
Having said that if we had to play Rushden and Diamonds this weekend we'd probably lose as we just can't maintain THAT level.
But if we do then we are a BIG chance of defeating the prawn sandwich eating Mancs this weekend.

I think there's a bit of a double meaning in Jose's comments in that, yes he's done well in the past at Old Trafford, but also that he feels at home at OT, hinting that he's up for the gig of replacing Fergie.
