Booney wrote:Great post CP. How refreshing has it been to see Australia have to fight for a change. We have fought and lost and I'm ok with that as out time had to come to an end and another country was always going to pick up the slack.
It would only be the South Africans and the West Indies I could handle losing too. India do nothing when they come here so the odd loss to them on the sub continent is purely hollow joy for them and the billion odd fans they have.
To see the Windies back near the top with 4 quicks tearing teams a new one would be great to see once more. I love watching Australia win,but how good would cricket be with 3 teams genuinely fighting for the number 1 spot. If any country reminds me of the way Australia plays then its South Africa. This summer just gone and now this tour have been highlights of the last 10 years for mine.

The series here and also what I've seen over in SA thus far has really renewed my interest in cricket, and reminded me of why it can be such a great game.

don't we all, but it's impossible.
i expect Australia to win most of the time, but when they lose, they shall lose fighting and not by much.

I dont.
I enjoy us winning but i much prefer the contests that we are getting now rather than the demolition jobs we were dishing up in the early 2000's.
