West could sell off Richmond Oval...must be worth a fortune as light industrial land...then spend some money down at the Bay...problem sloved.
Eight teams.

Maybe West can have the rest of the South Parklands, Victoria Park and Belair National Park instead....
C'mon R&B you know zones aren't based on geography they are based on population of a specific demographic so areas of low population are taken into account.

Edward Teach wrote:The SANFL metro zones have always been based on geography you goose. Just because one club has less 15 year olds is not reason to wreck another club. Fact is West have had far better juniors than Sturt for years anyway. Why does the SANFL have to interfere? The SANFL is going well. If West are not happy then they can spend some of that pokie money on developing their areas. West have the cattle - just need some stability and a decent coach. Sturt were in worse possie a few years back. West needs to stop whinging and the SANFL needs to f*** right off and leave Sturt alone.

If Glenelg merge with Westies the new guernseys would be
Black, Red & Yellow
Colours which could bring more indigenous players to the club!
(If ya know what I mean!)
