He did everything he could to help the vics over the line last match too, ultra conservative with mental blocks when the pressure is on.
I agree his capancty was so poor, should have used more of cullen earlier cos the medium pacers were going everywhere. However his cach of Tait and some of his glovework hilighted the fact that he is still by far the best keeper in the country
Big call to say he's the best keeper in the country but he is a long way ahead of Haddin no doubt. His footwork is excellent.
i agree its a big call and there would be a couple in front of haddin. his footwork and glovework are excellent. which other wk do you think could match him?

BUT it was a no ball.
Thats like saying it could have been a different story had Warner's six of Tait hit a cm higher on the bat he then would have skyed it and been caught.
Silly statement.

Not a silly statement at all whufc because that delivery alone shows how volatile T20 is. Wouldn't have been as costly in a test match or even an ODI (not in most cases anyway); in a T20 though you've got 4 overs before you're out of the attack and they could make the difference between a thumping win and a crushing defeat. It's a cutthroat format that's for sure.
So long as it doesn't kill test cricket, I don't mind it. Great to see Tait in the wickets again!
