Sigh, Ntini let off strike by a bad ball and sloppy glovework from Haddin

Very hard to maintain 140-150k pace for two days

FFS after all the crap you have had to take about your man crush Watto you would think you'd have a bit more sense than that. What an ordinary thing to say about a guy who has taken 300 wickets for his country. Yeah lets bring Watto in with his wonderful record in Test cricket. That will make all the difference

Mate, Lee's been a champion but he's ridiculously out of form. I know it's a harsh comment but the guy has been near useless for the past 8 tests and is doing this team no favours at all. If he's out we'll get an IN FORM bowler instead.

Cut the rubbish and emotioanl tripe, you know I'm right.

It's not emotional crap. I am not suggesting Lee is bowling well or should be retained in the side if fit or not but to be happy about an injury is absolutely f*cked up. Bad bloke sums you up well.

What the heck is your problem with me?

I'm not happy that he's injured, I'm happy that he's likely going to miss the next match because he's a part of the reason we're falling in a massive hole. I wanted him dropped, he's likely to miss through injury, either way Hilf comes in for Sydney, something I can't deny I'm not unhappy about...

Get a grip.

True, but it's not just pace that gets batsmen out. Just ask Glen McGrath. If you can't maintain pressure and intensity in some form over extended periods you are not a Test cricketer. Siddle is a very good bowler at his best but he needs to be able to back it up for more than one day if he wants to be successful in Test cricket.

Hey at least Ponting can be thanked for getting through 90 overs before the scheduled close of play. However, I doubt anyone would pay any attention (certainly not the ICC, definitely not the media) because it is a positive.

Wonderful knock from Duminy. South Africa's biggest problem now is not what happens on the field but who misses out for Prince in the Sydney Test? You couldn't possibly drop Duminy. He is an amazing talent. McKenzie is the obvious one but who opens? Amla probably will have to move up.

McKenzie will go, I think DeVIlliers will open was previously a good test opener so it is not a new spot for him ;)

1-0 up in the series with plenty of time int he game SA are happy to get a draw here, no sensible reason to declare, every run above AUS is valuable
