Whats wrong with just selecting a specialist No. 6 Test Standard batsman?
Symonds, Watson etc just ARNT test standard batsmen.
The Aussie selectors seem to be having difficulty in differentiating their 1 day form with Test match ability.

It is strange to see Clarke scoring this slowly but at least he is staying in. He MUST make a big score now though... no use hanging around if you get out for 30ish.
