G, I know your knowledge of the SANFL is not strong, but I think Jason Davenport, Hamish Hartlett and Shane Birss are reasonable on-ballers.
Your team stuffed up again, they always pick the player thats least likely to play for them. IMO Jason Davenport will end playing for Port Power most of the year. Your should have picked a Crows player.
Your team did the same last year by picking Brad Moran in the mini draft..no wonder West are always bottom with poor decision makers running the club!

In all seriousness, Sturt did exceptionally well. Lee is a gem.

And IF a massive IF he develops he could provide an X-Factor that few other players in the SANFL could. If the kid can learn to kick and run to the right places he could be a tough match up with his height, agility and leap.

The worry is if it has a brain fade he might try and get a three pointer

I know the doggies have done well out of the players they've got in the mini-draft, when they eventually get a pick. However I think Boyle might have only played a couple of games for us this year, but I'm not sure who he was picked before or after.

harsh - I don't think so!..Tippet & Moran were never gonna play more than a couple of games in the SANFL - they were AFL ready last year!
As for Dangerfield - you think the Crows won't play him from R1 onwards..hes just be given the Roos number, West will be lucky to get a game from him in 2009. Just poor decision making again from West Adel - and its no wonder they remain bottom of ladder!

Players Central have picked inclued
- Brent Guerra
- Ryan Williams
- Jonathan Griffin
These guys have been ultra good players for the club especially considering there salary is not paid by the club.

yeah and they've all been footballers, which helps our cause (not basketballers). Look I'm sure Roy will do his best, (hes a great development coach) but you just wonder whether we should have picked up someone else...or gave it a big miss altogether.

1. West - Jackson Trengove
2. South - Shaun McKernan
3. North - Jason Davenport
4. WWT - Tom Lee
5. Port - Mitchell Banner
6. Norwood - Will Young
7. Sturt - Rory Sloane
8. Glenelg - Jesse Laurie
9. Central - Ricky Henderson
10. West - Brian Donnelly

I know Mckernan, Parry and Cockshell are more than capable up forward, which is probably the plan, but i would have thought they needed some more depth in the midfield more so than a ruckmen.
